August 2015 Update
Grace to you from Kitale, Kenya,

My, but do these months fly by! Seems just a short time ago I was writing the July Update. The time may be going by so quickly because of such a busy schedule. Both Rita and I seem to have each day filled to the max. Rita has been very busy since our return in June preparing for and speaking in our Women’s Conference that was just completed on the 14th and 15th. She will give you the details of the conference with photos in this Update. She also spoke at a one day women’s meeting at a sister church on August 8th.

My time has been spent in preparing to preach each week in a different church. We have seen wonderful manifestations of God’s goodness every week. I have been preaching on revival and the glory of God. People are being powerfully touched by God’s presence. It reminds me of several years back in our church in Pearland when we saw so many wonderful demonstrations of God’s glory. It is so refreshing to bask in His Presence and to see people who have never experienced the glory of God completely overcome by His Presence. I believe the prophetic word God gave me in 2007 is being fulfilled before our very eyes. God said He was sending revival to Kenya and it would begin in Kitale. My part in this is to take the fire of revival to as many churches as possible and ignite each church with Holy Ghost fire. We are seeing it happen before our very eyes!!

My itinerary is almost completely full until we return to the States in mid-December. Each Sunday represents another opportunity to spread the revival fire. I take this responsibility very seriously. I spend a lot of time praying and seeking the Lord so that each Sunday I have a fresh word with a fresh anointing. Pray for me as I continue to spread the fire.

Last Sunday Protus, Rita, and I left out very early to travel to Eldoret where we ministered in two morning services at Now International Family Church pastored by our friends, Mike and Susan Bitock. What an awesome time we had with this very entergetic church family! The presence of God was felt as we walked into the mega tent; the Word was preached and the glory fell in the House of God!

As a result, 24 people (8 in the first service and 16 in the second service) came forth stating they were asking Jesus to be their Lord and Savior. It was such a great day!
Our Supernatural School of Ministry is going very, very well. Our weekly attendance is consistently between 25-30. It has been so interesting to see how the Holy Spirit orchestrates each class. I spend lots of time preparing, but more times than not, He changes the whole thing, but the results are always more than I could have hoped for. I love following His lead.

On the 8th, twelve young people from Restoration Church-Kipsongo stopped by our home for a visit before
heading out for an outing. We served chai and the
young people shared how their lives have been
touched by the Supernatural School of Ministry.

I asked some to share their testimonies at the next class. These two photos show Tony and Cynthia as they stood
before the class and shared their testimonies of how they have been used by God to pray for the sick and the joy
of seeing them healed.

In the class, we have a mixture of young people, late teens and early twenties, and then some who are older. There are about twelve of the young ones, all from one church. These young people are really receiving the revelation. They are praying for the sick, encouraging people, bringing an excitement and energy to the class. Today the lesson was on knowing how to receive and deliver a word of knowledge. After the DVD teaching I asked for volunteers who had never given a word of knowledge to raise their hand.

The first hand to go up was a young lady who is still in secondary school, just saved four weeks ago. I called her to the front and very quickly she had a word and delivered it. One of the pastors responded to the word, she prayed for him and he was healed on the spot. Several others also had a word of knowledge. This is so exciting to see people operating in the gifts of the Spirit.

On July 29th, Pastor Larry Taylor, pastor of Oasis of Grace, Graham, Texas, joined us by Skype. The students were amazed at how the anointing could be so strong with someone 9,200 miles away. David had set everything up so that our students could clearly see Larry and Larry was able to see the students. Larry had prophetic words, words of knowledge and an incredible teaching on the glory of God.

On August 26th Dr. Leon van Rooyen will be teaching. The students are anxious for another opportunity to have a visiting teacher. Many of the students are graduates of GMBI and know Dr. Leon by reputation, but have never seen or heard him. That makes his visit especially significant.

This year’s conference was a great success due to the combined efforts of the women in leadership at our three area Restoration Churches (Kitale, Showground, and Kipsongo) and the RGM Team. Just over a hundred ladies registered during the two day event. Five ladies were saved during our time together.

Update on van repair . . .

Thanks to each one who sowed into the repair of the van. We are still short $520. Please consider sowing into this need. As always, you may send a check to RMI, P.O. Box 2077, Deer Park, Texas 77536. PayPal is also an option, go to our website, click on the contributions button. Please note your donation is for the “Van Repair.” Thank you in advance for assisting us in getting this all done.

On August 31st, Rita and I depart for Thailand for two weeks of ministry. Our schedule is set, unless the Holy Spirit changes it. There will be 12 days of powerful ministry. We are excited to be going back to Thailand and ministering with Rob and Nusara Pirkle. They are having amazing results teaching on grace and the supernatural. Pray for us as we all do a lot of traveling and ministering.

Our monthly financial support has taken a big drop during the summer months. It is becoming increasingly more difficult to just pay our fixed expenses. I ask you to prayerfully consider partnering with us on a monthly basis so that we may remain on the field and continue equipping these wonderful Kenyan pastors and leaders.

May God bless you richly,
